Workshops: The analysis of monitored classes were made within common workshops. The questions for the discussion were formulated in advance. They imposed a certain order during the meeting and provided the opportunity for Polish and Norwegian teachers to express their thoughts and ideas. The analysis was not geared towards lesson evaluation but towards comparing and exchanging experiences and seeking inspiration. Lesson analysis: I. Questions to the teachers who conducted the lesson:

Conclusions: Norwegian teachers observed lessons with interests, they listened to Polish teachers’ remarks ( lessons were analyzed in terms of methods as well as the degree of achieving goals) Polish students’ great spontaneity at the lessons was emphasized, their active participation, a very good rapport between teachers and students based on quick interaction. It was pointed out that certain differences result from particular conditions – a different educational system, different technological standard. Nevertheless, a large number of similarities was mentioned, which are an integral part of a lesson regardless of mentality, teachers’ experiences as well as students and conditions. Planning: The manner of evaluation in the form of an individual assessment made by each participant was discussed. Also, the system of making reports about conducting the project was suggested The aims and methods of working on another mini project were introduced: ‘How good is our school’. It will cover the evaluation of selected work domains of both schools by means of suggested tools. While preparing for doing the mini project: ‘The origin – your and our myths’, the idea of the project was discussed step by step. Means required for carrying out mutual theatrical performances were brought up in the meeting. Plays will be about national Slavic and Nordic myths. Training: During workshops:
A training for teachers: ‘How to design a website by means of weebly.com?’ was conducted. A simple way of designing a website was presented by means of CMS (content management system). This system is offered by the service –weebly.com that is available directly from the internet engine. The internet website was designed in this service. |
